Privacy Policy
This policy explains what information Trading Tools collects, why it is collected, and how it is handled.
1. Who We Are
Trading Tools is the service covered by this Privacy Policy.
For privacy questions, data-access requests, deletion requests, or other data-protection matters, contact:
2. Information We Collect
The information collected depends on how you use Trading Tools.
Account information
When you create an account, we may collect your email address, authentication information necessary to operate the account, and account-related identifiers generated by our authentication provider.
Passwords are handled through our authentication infrastructure and are not intentionally stored by Trading Tools in readable form.
Profile and workspace information
Account-based features may store information such as your display name, preferred currency, markets you indicate that you trade, experience level, workspace preferences, interface preferences, and onboarding status.
Saved calculations
When you explicitly save a calculation, Trading Tools stores the information required to reproduce or display that saved calculation in your workspace.
Watchlists
If you use the watchlist feature, Trading Tools may store instrument symbols and related watchlist information associated with your account.
Product usage
Trading Tools uses a first-party product-usage system to understand which parts of the application are being used.
Examples include events such as a tool being opened and a calculator being explicitly completed.
These events are intentionally limited. We do not use this product-usage system to record the financial inputs of your calculations.
Technical information
Infrastructure supporting Trading Tools may process technical information necessary to deliver requests, maintain security, prevent abuse, diagnose failures, and operate the service. This may include IP addresses, browser or device information, timestamps, request information, and security-related logs.
3. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- provide and maintain accounts and requested features;
- store saved calculations, watchlists, preferences, and workspace information;
- understand product usage and improve the service;
- detect unauthorized access, misuse, and security problems;
- respond to support requests and service-related communication; and
- comply with applicable legal obligations and protect legal rights.
4. Legal Bases
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, we may process personal information on the basis of performing a contract, pursuing legitimate interests, obtaining consent where required, or complying with legal obligations.
Where consent is the applicable legal basis, you may withdraw that consent subject to applicable law.
5. Service Providers
Supabase
Supabase provides authentication, database, and related infrastructure used by Trading Tools.
Vercel
Vercel provides hosting and deployment infrastructure. Infrastructure providers may process technical information necessary to operate, secure, and deliver the service.
Twelve Data
Trading Tools uses Twelve Data for certain market data, instrument-search, currency-conversion, and time-series requests.
Requests for market information may include the relevant instrument symbol, currency pair, or other request parameters necessary to obtain the requested information.
We do not intentionally send your account password, saved workspace contents, or unrelated account information to a market-data provider merely because you request market data.
6. Cookies and Browser Storage
Trading Tools does not intentionally use advertising cookies, cross-site tracking cookies, or an advertising-profile system.
Authentication functionality may use browser storage necessary to maintain a signed-in session. This session storage exists to keep authentication functioning and is not an advertising or cross-site tracking system operated by Trading Tools.
7. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures intended to protect information against unauthorized access, alteration, loss, misuse, or disclosure.
These measures include authenticated access controls, database row-level access controls where applicable, secure transport, and limiting information collected for product analytics.
No internet service can guarantee absolute security.
8. Retention
We retain information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law.
Account information may be retained while your account remains active and for a reasonable period afterward. Saved workspace information may remain until you delete it, close your account, or it is otherwise removed under applicable policies.
Product-usage events may be retained for as long as reasonably necessary to understand product usage and improve the service.
Security, backup, or legal records may be retained longer where necessary for security, dispute resolution, or legal compliance.
9. International Processing
Trading Tools uses service providers that may process information in countries other than your own.
Where applicable law imposes requirements for international transfers of personal information, appropriate safeguards or another lawful transfer mechanism will be used.
10. Your Rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights relating to your personal information, including rights to be informed, access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, portability, and withdrawal of consent where consent is the applicable legal basis.

Trading Tools may link to or interact with third-party services. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy policies.
